    VENDOR INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR
    DALLAS KOI KICHI LABOR DAY KOI SHOW
    AUGUST 31, SEPTEMBER 1 & 2, 2012 AT GRAPEVINE BASS PRO OUTDOOR WORLD

    Due to the high profile of this multi- million dollar Corporation with thousands of people passing through this and all other properties each weekend, they are highly risk adverse and have tightened down a bit from last year's show.  Please review the insurance requirements and complete the information if you are comfortable with them. A small price to pay for the high visibility location and traffic count of this site.

    We will need the following information to be emailed to Tom McWhirter at tom.mc@hotmail.com by August 1, 2011.  The insurance requirements are as follows:

    1.  Commercial General Liability (CGL)--$1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 annual aggregate.  Must be written on an Occurrence Form policy.  Must include $1,000,000 Excess Liability coverage.
    2. A copy of your current automobile insurance coverage, either personal or commercial policy.

    3. Workers’ Comp per your state’s statutes.  If exempt, please send a statement addressing your exemption.  There is a gap of coverage in the GCL that does not cover vendor employees at the show.  In the past,  Bass Pro has been listed  as a defendant in law suits by vendor employees not covered by worker's comp.   Therefore, Bass Pro is requiring all vendors to conform to Item 3 under the insurance.

    Please advise your insurance broker of the following:

    1. The Additional Insured should be Bass Pro Outdoor World, L.L.C., its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers and directors shall be named as Additional Insured on all Liability policies.
    2. The Certificate Holder should be:

    Thank you for participating in our 2011 Dallas Koi Show.  We have a great venue in our partnership with Bass Pro Outdoor World.  Please have all the special event insurance requested above to us by August 1, 2011.  Bass Pro has advised us that all vendors must have insurance coverage to participate at this year’s event at their Grapevine location.
